1. What we provide

Our service is private guided walks and day tours designed for travelers fifty and better: historic city walks, national-park easy-pace days, music-heritage routes, and coastal rambles. Every tour is private (your party only), paced to the slowest walker, with seated breaks roughly every hour. We are not a travel agency and do not sell transportation or lodging; we advise on logistics and coordinate with licensed operators where needed.

Details and current pricing for each package are shown on our Plans page and confirmed in your written estimate.

2. Booking and agreement

Bookings are made through this site's inquiry form, by phone ((504) 555-0165), or by email ([email protected]). A booking is confirmed when we send a written confirmation and, where applicable, receive the deposit. Dates are held for 72 hours pending your confirmation. We may propose alternative dates during peak seasons.

3. Fees and payment

All prices are in U.S. dollars. Payment is accepted by card, ACH transfer, or check; deposits and schedules are stated in your estimate. Applicable sales tax is added where required by state law. There are no automatic renewals unless a monthly plan explicitly says so, and any recurring plan can be stopped at any time as described in Section 4.

4. Cancellations and changes

Tours canceled 14 or more days ahead are refunded in full; 13-8 days, 70%; 7 days to 24 hours, 50%; within 24 hours, 20% is retained to cover guide time already reserved. Weather cancellations initiated by us are always fully refunded or rescheduled free. Tips are never expected and always optional.

5. Copyright, releases, and likeness

Photographs we take during your tour are delivered to you with full personal-use rights. Use of those photographs on our website or brochure requires your separate written permission, which we request after the tour; declining changes nothing. Route descriptions and materials are for your personal use.

Text and images on this site may not be copied without credit and a link. Reasonable quotation with attribution is welcome.

6. Delivery schedule

A written itinerary with meeting-point maps, parking notes, restroom locations, and bad-weather alternatives is delivered as a PDF 3 days before the tour. Photos taken by your guide are shared within 7 days.

7. Liability

We carry general liability insurance (AXA XL GL policy LA-41829, tour operations endorsement). To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the affected service, and we are not liable for indirect damages. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Participation in sessions and tours is at your own pace; please tell us about conditions that affect safe participation.

8. Force majeure

If storms, wildfires, power or network outages, public orders, or illness make service unsafe or impossible, we will reschedule or refund as described in Section 4 without cancellation fees.

9. Your information

How we collect, use, store, and share personal information is described in our Privacy Policy, including rights available to residents of California and other states.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms; the current version is always posted on this page with its effective date. Material changes affecting existing bookings will be sent to affected clients directly.

11. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Louisiana, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will first be addressed by a good-faith conversation - call us - and unresolved disputes will be brought in the courts of Orleans Parish, Louisiana, or as otherwise required by law. Where state law provides small-claims procedures, you may always use them.
